Haus der Brandenburgisch Preußischen Geschichte

The conference will take place in Potsdam, Haus der Brandenburgisch-Preußischen Geschichte (HBPG).

Potsdam is the capital city of the German federal state Brandenburg, located just about 20 kilometres southwest of Berlin. As one of the main science towns in Germany Potsdam is home to a great number of research institutes and centers, including the Digital Games Research Center, DIGAREC.

How to get there:

From Berlin Tegel Airport

From the Flughafen Tegel station take bus line X9 or 109 to Zoologischer Garten Bhf. From there take train RE1 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Potsdam Central Station).

From Berlin Schönefeld Airport

There is a direct train (RB22) to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof approx. 5 minutes before every full hour. You can also take train RB14 from Flughafen Berlin Schönefeld Bhf to Zoologischer Garten Bhf. From there take train RE1 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Potsdam Central Station). Alternatively take train RE7 from Flughafen Berlin Schönefeld Bhf to Ostbahnhof Berlin, and take train RE1 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof from there.

Take train RE1 to Potsdam Hauptbahnhof (Potsdam Central Station).

From Potsdam Central Station

Go to “Alter Markt” by any tram line; or  to “Schloßstraße” by any bus line; or walk there by foot within 15 minutes.
